Ingrid and John Sullivan have worked in the real estate industry for more than 30 years. Through their experiences helping their own parents with moves, they came to realize that there was a great void in the industry and began concentrating their efforts toward helping Boomers and Seniors with downsizing and rightsizing moves.
While they are full-service REALTORS® with Keller Williams Realty, working with clients of all ages, they have found that working with mature adults is their true calling. Their company, Senior Downsizing Experts, has assembled a team of trusted experts to help guide their clients through every step of this often emotional process.
Ingrid and John are also authors of The Ultimate Guide to Downsizing, a book packed with information, helpful tips, and tools to make the downsizing process less stressful and more successful.
Why We Do What We Do
In working with our senior clients, we discovered that there are a lot of myths and misinformation out there, so we began presenting educational opportunities for older adults and their families. It became our mission to give them the correct information and empower them to take control of their own future. Thus the Smart Senior Series was born.
It is our goal to offer quality education for mature adults without overwhelming them with a continual barrage of sales pitches, advertisement and upsells. Finding free education and credible information that isn’t tied to data mining or an endless stream of unwanted emails is nearly impossible.
The Smart Senior Series has educated hundreds of DFW seniors through monthly seminars on topics important to older adults and their families. Thanks to our amazing like-minded education partners, we continue to offer these quality programs at no cost to seniors.
We are helping older adults make important life decisions and encouraging them to take action so they can live the best life possible before, during and after retirement. The appreciation our event team and our sponsors receive each month from our attendees is a reward like no other!
Who We Serve
Our attendees include mostly retirees, ranging in age from 50 to 90+. We have a good mix of couples and individuals, as well as the occasional adult child or caregiver. Most of our guests are homeowners who are looking at a future move and everything that goes with it.
